about Bellingen
Bellingen Shire is situated on the mid north coast of New South Wales. Over 1600 square kilometres, it encompasses the towns of Dorrigo, Bellingen, Urunga and Mylestom, the Bellinger and Kalang River systems, estuaries and beaches.
Within its boundaries lie eight national parks, two state forests and one aboriginal area. The national parks are Dorrigo World Heritage, Bellinger River, New England, Bindarri, Bongil Bongil, Cascade, Junuy Juluum and Nymboi-Binderay.
