After
an early career in Photojournalism and Commercial Photography
in Melbourne and Sydney, Tim Aickin has, for the last
twenty years, been living and photographing in the Bellingen
region.
During these years Tim has amassed a unique collection
of images, most of which were available through Agencies
or the many hundreds
of thousands of cards and prints that Tim has wholesaled in this
region.
A year ago in partnership with Photographer Gethin Coles, the
Print Workshop Studio Gallery was opened at number 12 Church
Street Bellingen,
NSW, Australia.
From the Gallery Tim and Gethin retail postcards, prints
(matted or framed) and canvas prints (bare or stretched).
Also housed at the Gallery is “Bellingen Images”, Tim’s
regional Photo Library, containing a wide variety of stock images
from the North Coast area – National Parks, rivers, creeks,
rainforest, fauna, landscapes, townscapes, coastal, festivals and
local industry.
